Too Close Reading... (one question, give or take five answers)

Too Close Reading... (one question, give or take five answers)

          I.

too close reading…

wanting, they cluster

and network.

such imitation,

vocally and behaviorally,

a pattern. copies, and copies,

and duplicates

in triplicate.

stop writing in order to please.

tell beautiful untruths…

            II.

remain upstream

from the child of the age.

rates are cheaper!

crowds have trickled,

and the whole room is ours.

the following contains sequences

of flashing lights or patterns.

desire to blink…

             III.

keep heavy bookshelves,

but read things not yet on the page.

chaps stacked on the floor,

obscure films, all the music,

remember to filter that feedback.

from the great resignation

to the great embrace of deep silence,

go into the desert…

              IV.

escape the storm. live analog.

break thru the forces and tend to reality.

take their hand,

calm the situation, forgive and repeat.

live your calling!

the mission becomes the one desire,

the destination, telos…

                  V.

emulate only the glory halo.

live at the intersection

of reason, religion, and technology.

live in the harmony,

dwell in the coincidence of opposites.

avoid mimetic madness…want well!
