The Storm
lay me down in a raging storm,
thundering and blowing around,
swirling sea foam covering warm,
love comes in salty waters.
tears dropped on silken sheets,
bloodshed blankets heavy and moist,
burdened thoughts entwined in the wind,
speak my dreams share one voice.
love rolling in the thunder wishes,
chained under the surge of pain,
pelt our bodies with toxic rain,
quench my thirst with your kisses.
vivid sky colors writing true love letters,
flashes of tumult tingling up my spine,
pressure releases great deep fountains,
flooding even the highest mountain.
home in your arms wrapped in love,
the deluge subsides changed is the weather,
our souls awakened by the turtle dove,
lay me down on white fluffy feathers.
