The Jacarandas Are Blooming

The Jacarandas Are Blooming

the jacaranda is the reason,

in this city of eternal sunshine,

that there is even a season.

ephemeral blue waltz of time,

the jacaranda bloom releases

riotous violet haze on two perfect faces.

rare, tiny, beautiful hands squeeze

strawberries catching the juicy traces.

under delicate lavender canopies;

gainsborough roses, two blonde ladies.

quick hands exhale on empty vanities;

sinister santa anas, torchlight beauties...
