Smartdust
from a weird conversation in Berkeley:
locusts have no king, yet they go forth in formation.
atoms align their spin in cooling iron making it magnetic.
lesser flocks dot skies in synchronized murmurations.
sudden change in demographics of destiny dominate.
bees with their perfect hexagons, ants in their colonies
move forward in divisions, each a part of the greater system.
workers, soldiers, drones, the queen, our whole human caste
know it is local interactions that create swarm behavior...
zeroing in on naught, a positional cipher of empty space,
gaze through the circle, clasped hands hold the four corners.
every day, find something that takes your breath away...
freak wind, cool breeze, midday at the beach, rogue wave!
breathe thrice upon the waters, huff into the bright face.
puffing insufflation... ask where does the wind come from?
it comes from the sun. who blows smartdust to purify souls?
the mind is the matrix of all matter... sprinkle on technicolor streets,
cat clowder herded cows rank points close to the true north
in the dark night of the soul. over drinks, some don’t seek peace,
born with the spirit of the storm in their blood. kick open windows,
let them breathe electric dander dispersed on the cool night air.
control human swarm. recognize every thought put to a face.
dried seed, blown dandelions, biosensor motes on solar winds
in the blood of the lamb. a liar’s sick charade on full display
breeds the sheep to sleep, double-take double-speak. repeat
routine: echo, refrain, scream, the consequence of sound
asphyxiates in systemic disarray, a drag upon hype cycle.
chillingly, it is all so deafening on the ears of the invincible,
march in good command consuming the fruits of the earth.
smell the sea, feel the sky. small as a grain of sand, grain of salt,
monitor crops, monitor inventory, monitor everything neural dust.
conies, damans, mountain mice, rabbits, reverse genesis nation...
switch positions heiress, deliberate zero helios, go forth information.
