parallax at aleppo

parallax at aleppo

once again the world is here,

upon the river jordan,

we come not for water,

through syria it flows free,

search instead for grace, so sweet,

looking for the mercy seat.

the perishable is truly beautiful,

skin wrapped solely in bespoke.

golden sunbird’s eternal spin in collapse,

like the ark a vision in parallax.

divine design a cubit and a half,

acacia wood covered in gold,

still the seekers seek to hold.

time is tipping the measuring cup,

eye for eye and tooth for tooth,

aleppo pepper fills the silk road.

with oils they wash away the sands,

blood will never touch their hands.

shout from the valley,

in the land of milk and honey,

fill up their nightly dreams,

searching all the centuries.

they have really come too far,

they bomb the hanging gardens,

sending drones to scour redoubt.

false flags wave in approval,

nuke mount simeon, ancient nebo.

in fear fleeing run refugees,

from instigated arab springs.

after all the warring we have done,

we come not for gold or petro dollar,

we did unto to others too, now suddenly

we care about poisoned scholars.

rising from the same longing,

ancient crusaders still plunder,

for life after death wonder.

jolt of testimony, jolt of perpetual power,

everyone blinded in the last hour

at the battle of aleppo.

breaking through the firmament,

black and blue tinged in red and gold,

imagine a full assumption.

in the shadow of its hideous strength,

dreaming of genuine events,

imagine heaven is another dimension,

so few can see the vision of the brazen

serpent. science entwined in religion,

power held at just the right tempo,

the ark in parallax at aleppo.

and lo! above unfolding,

heavens golden portals gleam.
