to dictate what we will wear, what wall color to paint.

covered head to toe fluffed, boxed, and over decorated.

color has meaning, controls societies mood,

messages the color blind synesthetic plainly sees.

shades and tone this year are meant to relax and soothe,

but all i feel is wizardy purple and teen target pink.    

the power of colour, the power of glamour, distorted

shaping society,
